Hi,

Just wondering if a pressure washer is the way to go for pre-cleaning your car , etc.

would I really need to get the fullsize one 107 pounds halfrauds (compact is 64 ) because
you get the vario lance and snow foam adapter.  So if these are really necessary It makes sense to buy the more expensive one.
what do you guys recommend?

Thanks
Ian

I've had a karcher K2 for 9 years now still works just. Think they currently on offer at b&q for £48! The lances that they come with are pretty poor so you'd be best getting one through a detailer website, ie. Autobrite do a lance & snowfoam bundle that works a treat. Nisfisk also get good write ups, but not sure what's about offer wise at the moment.

A foam lance works great as a pre wash, even more in winter months.

i bought a k2, washed both cars twice and did a bit of patio and the pump gave up! only had it 3 weeks!

the new k2 (from b&q/halfords etc) have plastic pumps and fail quite often apparently

i took mine back and bought myself a nilfisk for a few quid more, well worth the money :happy2:

I've got a K4 bought from Karcher's online outlet (worth checking out). Had it about 3 years with no issues

Double check the throughout of both. When I got the k4 a few months back, both the normal and compact had the same power and water throughout. They just stripped some unnecessary plastic so I opted for that to make it easier to carry around.
