Burning spark plug out

Here goes had a coil pack problem replaced and the mechanic noticed the plug had burnt out, around 5k later misfire started same plug as burnt out again. Oil consumption is the same  any ideas what this could be thanks in advance

Forgot to mention mileage is 125k totally standard gti

Burned out usually means running too hot.  If the plugs are OEM ones, then it's probably down to a bad injector.  You might want to get that confirmed and replaced before detonation destroys the piston.
