manual boost controllers ?

(1/2) > >>

gillm:
right having a new turbo fitted (28.71) and currently running revo stage 2 , which i really rate and hoping to stay with revo . after a chat on the phone with them they are wanting me to run a manual boost controller ,and they will map around it .

any suggestions on which 1 to use ?

Poppa Dom:
Interesting, I'm hoping you are going to say that you will be running a wideband o2 sensor in addition to a manual boost controller too, so that you can keep an eye on AFR. Upping the boost without changing fuelling could see things leaning out a little too much. Or is it going to be a programmable boost controller that Revo will map around to take in boost variations and set up a table for fuelling/timing around it? Sounds like it is going to be an interesting development.

gillm:
yeh widebane is going in . also want to keep a eye on egt's .

revo told me they will map around it using stage 4 software

Poppa Dom:
What sensor array are you going to use, if you have the money you should look at investing in a DashDaq II http://www.dashdaq.com. Digital guage display that can pull from your wideband O2/temp sensors E.g. innovate/zeitronix. Sorry for going OT - have heard good things about the E-Boost 2 by TurboSmart but it is pricey.

gillm:
unsure yet . i will prob use my mates spare till i decide
