Anyone had the same fault code?

as per my thread on sunday (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,109418.0.html) i got rac out just to see what they said about me losing power (after researching on google/forum many have said its the dv... said this to the guy he had never heard of it before lol)

is it still worth me changing the dv/cam follower/pcv for peace of mind? advice appreciated

System Type: ENGINE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC & INFORMATION
Name: BWA - MOTRONIC - 2.0L - 147 (200)
DTC: P0234,Charge pressure control; Regulating limit surpassed
internittent loss of power
happed while on motorway at 70 mph - vehicle felt like it had no turbo
fault has now cleared and vehicle driving ok with no loss of power
fault code shows fault to be on turbo system , possibly intercooler under high pressure
susch as high speed on motorway
vehicle will be ok driving around town
advise if fault happens again to have vehicle checked at garage

Could be a number of different things, have you checked all hoses for boost leaks?

That fault code doesn't indicate any problem with DV or PCV, i'd be looking for boost leak as first port of call

i couldnt see anything... and rac guy seemed to have a thorough look everywhere
