MFSW Install Help/Confirmation
« on: October 26, 2016, 02:21:47 pm »
I know this has been covered but I need to finally clear this up..

I have a 2009 gti (mk5)
Its a DSG with paddle shift.
I have the MSFW Buttons from Pashka (they have the module)

Are these a straight forward fit? does any foam need trimming under the blanks?
I have a retro fitter/coder and hes not sure if they fit without cutting foam etc...

Can anyone clear this up once and for all.. :))

TIA

No cutting, the blanks will unscrew via a T20 screw and the buttons replace the blanks, route the wires all done.
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

Dsg steering wheels have cutouts already in place. No need for cutting things

Thanks Guys!

I read on another thread that the buttons do not need any coding?

I did this mod the other month if your car has cruse control, highline display and dsg like mine it won't need coding. Here's some pics to give you a idea of what to expect.

Didn't think I'd start another thread but do I just need the 2006 onwards buttons from pashka for instance with the module or can I buy that somewhere?
