Removing the rear badge/mechanism
« on: January 11, 2010, 08:24:17 pm »
In preparation of my new badge and mechanism for my 2005 GTi I thought I'd enquire about removing the old one and refitting the new one. Can anyone talk me through the process and advise how easy it is to sort?

Thanks.

Did it myself a month or 2 ago, quite easy, but be prepared to lose a couple of the small clips, as the fixings are quite tricky,
I also cracked the rear plastic to the boot as well when putting it all back together, but managed to save it in the end.
Hope you can get it on once it arrives dude!  :happy2:
