Front Wheel Arch Mod
« on: November 17, 2016, 02:36:55 pm »
My sons car has had both front wings replaced and he is running 8" wide wheels. The wheels now hit the wheel arch liner which is irritating and damaging the liner. I remember a post on here or elsewhere of a front wheel arch screw mod or similar to stop this happening, or did i dream it as i can't find it now ! Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's very straight forward, if you look directly up inside at the centre of the arch, there's a screw that holds the liner to the wing, remove the screw and just push the liner in and up above the mounting point, job done  :happy2:

I just pressed upward and outward on the screw tab by hand in order to bend it up and away while leaving it attached. I've had no problem since.

But yes, most remove the screw and the plastic insert...then set the liner above the tab...and done. Described below ↓
