Boost gauges
« on: January 25, 2010, 03:10:41 pm »
I wouldn't mind fitting a boost gauge so i can see whats what, is there any you can get that can be fitted out of sight as I will never have one on the dash its not to my taste, taste is very subjective...

Cheers  :happy2:

If it's out of sight, how are you going to see what's going on?

Yours pathetically tastelessly,
Robin

Its ment to be close to your steering wheel so you dont have to look away from the road to view it.

Pathetic or not, its the best tool ive bought for my car.

....I think the top Defi model stores the info - cmdrfire knows all about those. The Defi is probably the best but comes at a price.

Thing is, Aparoon, that the boost gauge needle moves so fast that you do need it in sight - Trust us on this.

Btw, good to meet you at The Pod - Faces to weird forum names etc  :drinking:

Cheers Robin, I do wonder why I didn't call myself ChrisEd30  :signLOL:

John'o - I was thinking of the little drawer on the rhs near the light switch but I suppose its little out the way, I just don't like to see them on the dash, its my thing everyone has one  :stupid:

I wouldnt be without mine and feel it should be in line of sight but thats my opinion only  :drinking:

other option would be to fit it behind the vent slats , camoflage styleee, so you can still read it but its less obvious?
(in fact I might try this myself  :signLOL:)

lots of options, in the tray is fine , maybe even on a longer lead so you can just 'bring it out' when you want to ?

your options are endless  :pomppomp:
