DSG Reset - Portsmouth Area
« on: November 28, 2016, 09:13:47 am »
Hi all,

Is there anyone local to me who can perform a DSG reset? My local VW specialist is always too busy and can't see me until mid December...

I was hoping someone could simply help with a quick plug in a reset? Is it that simple?

I had an issue with the auto holding onto gears too long. I cleaned a intermittent ABS sensor which cured that problem but the pull away could be smoother. I believe a DSG reset could resolve this problem.

Thank you for the reply. I believe the oil was changed within the last year. The pull away problem only seems to occur when the engine is warm. Cold pull aways are fine.
