Emailed VW Parts for 2 new cv boots for 07 GTI DSG, and they want £25 each? Any recommendations for alternatives? Only interested in quality items.....Thanks.

GKN are the OEM for these (according to the VW parts dept.) but when I bought one it was made of plastic and not rubber and wouldn't seal up properly, so ended up buying the VW one and getting a garage to fit it the second time because I couldn't be f*cked with that hub nut twice.

I had same problem, OEM ones are made of plastic and just would not seal up so I ended up fitting a non OEM rubber boot.
