Side Skirt adhesive
« on: December 03, 2016, 12:41:55 pm »
My cars is gonna be going back to standard over the next few weeks so I'm going to be putting the old side skirts back on.

I remember when I got my R32 ones they had an adhesive strip along the top, double sided foam iirc. I did have a look on ECP but couldn't find anything. Found this on maplins, Is this stuff right for the job or is there something better for it?

Get the 3m stuff mate like this
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=182327298138&globalID=EBAY-GB
When I first looked at this stud I was like no way  :signLOL: but when I used the stuff I was shocked at how strong it was and as long as both surfaces are clean it will do fine.
