ABS, low tyre pressure and ESP
« on: December 11, 2016, 05:53:29 pm »
I feel like I'm never done asking advice.

The latest drama is this. Driving to work this morning the brake pedal felt like it was biting at a much higher point. When the brakes were applyed very gently the car pulled to the left and it felt like ABS kicked in. I went on another 100yds or so and braked again. Same deal. Pulled over and let some poo out before having another go. This time all three light, ASB, low tyre pressure and ESP dash lights came on and brakes seemed to work as normal again. Any clues?

I would do a bit reading about VW G201 fault on Google and see if that matches your symptoms.

Always good to get a VDCS read and see what faults come up. I had same 3 lights coming on around 50mph, turned out to be an ABS sensor ring on one of the rear bearings.
