Show us your wheels on your Black Magic
« on: December 12, 2016, 05:46:37 pm »
Ok so my Monza 2s are in terrrible condition due to the dreaded white worm and so in the new year I need to decide whether to get them refurbed or just get some different wheels... problem is I like the Monza 2s and wouldn't want to risk getting something I didn't like, so I'd like to see what wheels others have got on their black GTIs  Post 'em up!

I have a similar dilemma with my black magic mk5 two years down the road from having my Monza 2 renovated. The TD1.2 in anthracite look very good, weigh @3kg less each and don't cost much more than another refurb. OTOH, the Monza form part of the car's visual DNA. Hmmm, decisions decisions......

I have some 18" Audi R8 GT Reps on mine, they are gloss black and really suit the car. I'd upload some pics if I could figure out how  :signLOL:

I like these. Grey looks best on a black car imo.

Much better than pescaras as the centre isn't as wide and can see through calipers better.

Not normally a fan of bronze wheels, or red centre caps, but that does work!
