Car Squeeks - goes away when braking?
« on: December 17, 2016, 09:35:57 am »
Hi all

Noticed this yesterday when driving - any ideas? Had my rear pads done about a year ago and the sound does appear to be coming from the back.

Checked all my pads and they look like they have enough meat on them

Thanks

Intermittent issue - but also noticed my breaks get very spongy

Any ideas? Might just order a full disc and pads set from Euro with their 32% off this weekend and hope that sorts it

Yeah had the same issue last year.  Noises from the back, intermittent pedal inconsistency (really sharp at one stop, more pedal pressure required at the next).  I needed both rear calipers replacing!  Seized solid.
