Double din fascia

Hello,

Looking to fit a double din stereo into my mk5 however not wanting a cheap rubbish fitting fascia. Which ones have you guys got fitted? I've got a single din fascia that was brought from VW the fit and centre console match is perfect do VW do anything like thia for a double din?

I would be very interested to know the answer to this also. I want to fit a pioneer SPH-DA120 but I really want a good double din fascia to complement it. Anyone know which is the best one?

I used to have a Pioneer double DIN on my previous Golf and it had the Connects2 CT23VW07 fitting kit installed. Unlike most fitting kits it uses a single piece fascia which sits flush and is cleaner than the ones that have double bezels that tends to poke out.



As a side note the facia originally comes in matte grey, I've hydrodipped the carbon pattern shown in the image to match my interior.

Use VW factory one for dbl din. Its the same colour one piece. Not pricey. I dont have the part no: though.......

I fitted a Pioneer SPH-DA120 head unit over the weekend using a Connects2 CT24VW04 double din fascia set, it comes with the necessary wiring adapters. The colour match is spot on and it all fitted nicely into place without any problems, it's not a one piece fascia as above but still looks tidy. It was also a bargain at just under 15 quid from eBay. The item number is 181160802641
