« on: December 31, 2016, 11:56:49 am »
Ok so wipers aren't working here's the things Iv tried

Motor
Switch
Relays
Convenience control unit
Earths
Fuses

Probed power to motor only getting 11.6v in red and white and purple and white is getting only 9.0v
Where as another golf same gets 12.6v in both unsure it its wiring gonna trace that next as can't think of anything else as they actually came on them selfs without switch being on wouldn't go off unplugged motor not worked since thanks in advance

Have you checked the bonnet catch isn't faulty as the wiper don't work if it's open

Also put it on vcds couldn't get into the wiper part as is a copy and not live but did get into the forced testing which I was able to turn on the washers with the laptop and off again but with the wipers it it just said off and you couldn't change that

Replace the bonnet electrics if you haven't already done so.

It's just the bonnet lock that's held by toque screws that needs replacing
