« on: October 10, 2014, 09:31:45 pm »
Guys

I'm looking to have my alloys refurbed, does anyone have the colour code for Pirelli alloys?

Thanks

I tried to work this out a while back, but didn't really get anywhere. The press at the time described them as 'titanium', and I think it might be an Audi 'titanium' alloy paint, e.g. L8AU, but I always thought this is a bit darker than the pirelli alloys.

I'm also interested!

Won't whoever is refurbing them do a colour match for you?

Thanks for your replies.

I don't know if they will, as they may not be able match the colour and end up a different shade.

I also looked into this and had no joy, my man at TPS couldnt find a paint code or a paint shop guy I know.
Mine have been painted by the last owner (bodyshop owner) and it was done with a synthetic paint over a black undercoat, and it looks great but I have no paint code as it was a one off made up sample..

The one I am using match the colour to anything, from the alloy colour to a piece of fabric or even a good photo I had this problem with the pescara's also. They are called diamond alloys. £65 a wheel powder coated. not sure if this helps at all
