Newbie From Ireland
« on: January 11, 2017, 08:11:36 pm »
Good evening folks, I've been creeping around on here for a while now but only decided to join and post now. I've got some great info on here and look forward to chatting/ meeting some of you. I drive a 06 GTi as a daily and love every minute with her, Excellent all rounder. I also have a supercharged V6 4Motion Bora and a Golf Mk2 16v to add to the Vw collection that are in storage and I drive from time to time.

Kind Regards Gerrit,

sure don't I know!

I bought this last week, has a blown bottom but the spec is close to epic, so I will transfer some of the bits over to my one and break the rest.

Appreciate it lads, Tornado Reds are hard to beat when clean alright where abouts in Dublin? I'm in Wicklow town myself.

Basically everythings available bar, xenons, H&R cupkit, led valeos, rns510, r32 brakes, forge fmic, Milltek turbo back, R8 coil packs, evolution tip. All standard parts are available that I replaced those with so just ask. The car also has beige leathers and a few other nice extras.

Welcome along, I'm from Dublin myself!

I recall seeing that grey GTI up for parts on adverts.ie, was sold in Wexford or Wicklow no?

Here's my build thread for a few ideas to get you started - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,89715.msg907250.html#msg907250

Thanks Seanie I'll get a build thread up shortly.

Yup, I have it up for parts, I'm based in Wicklow. Basically bought it to transfer the nice bits onto mine and sell the rest. Looks like a tidy example there Luke.
