Hello all, thought i would introduce myself and show you my new car.

My name is Rich and im from lincolnshire, i used to have a mk4 but have recently bought a mk5.
This is my old mk4







I did love that car but it was only a 1.4 and i needed some power so....












I wont upload too many pics because i'm sure everyone knows what a standard GTi looks like. I'm not planning on doing too many mods to it in my first year as im only 20 but i do want to do a bit of colour coding and get a really good sound system installed.

Anyway thats me and I hope I can be a valuable member of this forum.

There are ways round it mate quite simple really, im 20 now and was insured on it when i was 19

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes. Yea I just used one of the comparison websites, got the cheapest quote (from elephant) then went to them direct, im paying just over 1400 for the year.

yeah just down the road from my folks, i used to play rugby against grantham! im from the horrible town of spalding!

unlucky! so glad i got out of there!! i do almost sound like a snob but the only reason i visit is to see friends and family and get some decent sausages, the town has gone down hill rapidly in the 8 years since i left, im sure it was much nicer once. oh actually maybe not!!  

enjoy your stay here rich, its gonna start getting expensive soon, if you need any help being convinced of a new exhaust im going up there in a couple of weeks!
