RCD 300 - Aux Input

I've just bought and received the connects2 kit - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Connects2-CTVVGX004-Passat-Adaptor-Interface/dp/B005FMYGAS

Today I have just noticed - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUX-IN-Socket-Switch-Cable-For-VW-Sagitar-Jetta-Golf-MK5-MK6-RCD-510-310-300-UK-/172274038462 which seems to be a much nicer solution to connects2.

Is the connects2 a better kit for sound or would there be little to no difference?
