These are all my opinions of course...
Turbo'd hatchbacks are common. With new emission rules, big engined V8, V10 and V12s are getting rarer and as a petrolhead - I need to scratch that itch. It's at a point now, where some of the older V8s for example are beginning to get old, and in a few years will be very difficult to find good examples.
£20k will buy you a decent B7 Audi RS4. Manual, V8, Quattro. Go find that combo anywhere else!
They're 10 years old now, but that noise and driving experience never gets old.
Also, they've stopped depreciating.
In summary, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, V8 for the win.
