South African Scenery
« on: January 28, 2010, 10:44:56 am »
Hey guys

Just thought I would post up some pics I took at a place called Vergelegen (Translated to "far away from the present") in Somerset West here in South Africa. Simply lovely place with beautiful views:

I hope you guys like them!

Would that be the tyre burning, racist, mugged on every corner, elephants roaming the waterfront etc image you have?

If so you are not alone. We have our issues here but our scenery is why people come here...

I have some more I can post later

I was kidding though. That image is a collection of our history prior to 1994. Things have changed a lot since.

And yes... Those were taken in an area where rain is common (farming area too) so everything is green and fresh.
