Hi everybody!

Actually never intended to do as much work to the car in the beginning. But I started summer 2016 spending som time and money on some upgrades. You can follow the work along the run on my thread here.

My main goal with the build is to keep the car looking as original as possible. So that's why I'm using genuine parts for all the replacement and retrofits I'm doing. So unless other is stated with a text or picture it's genuine VW/Audi parts.

Keep a look out for new updates.
I will try to post as many pictures as possible. But since most of the upgrades/replacements were done before I joined this forum there's no detailed pictures of the process of the mods that I've done when I wasn't a member.

What you want to know?
It's actually from a Passat. The mk7 climatronic panel has different temperature wheels that'll fit the Discover units. This one fit with the RNS volume adjustment wheel :jumpmove:

Light and picture quality makes the brushed black vinyl look horrible. Way better looking in that picture hehe.

About the wires it depends on what you have in your car right now and if you car is from before 2007

Bought a facia from a Scirocco and cut both into pieces and then plastic welded the parts together :)

I just wrapped mine since I wrapped the door plastic pieces and ashtray.. Some patience and some good quality vinyl the result will be good enough for the upgrade you are getting with the new panel :D
I'm searching the interweb thin trying to see if anyone ever did some illumination upgrade/retrofitting to the air vents like in the new vag cars. Would look so cool! :) - No luck yet though...... .....

If you car is from 2004-2007 you need to swap a few wires and remove some totally. - Don't have my notes besides me, but can get back to you with that if you want.

Yeah I think so :) I would rather have the mk5 clima panel than the mk6 :D It just doen't give me any good wibes and looks too messy for me hehe.

Finaly sorted out the last wiring issues for me new climatronic panel and also connected my air quality sensor that I fitted a few days ago. - Lovely not seeing any VCDS errors :D

Will be getting the DAB retrofit kit late today, ordered the one from Carsystems.pl - Really looking forward to this is installed so I can use the DAB in my new RNS510.

Other than that I'll fit me new cruise control stalk since the old old was revision "F" and need the "G" one to work the the CH control module. And at last I'll put in my new mk6 R line steering wheel

Will post some pictures with the progress and work before and after tonight :)

Hopefully I'm getting my abs pump first thing next week so that I can get that fitted and coded so my 3d cluster can be fitted soon! :D Really looking forward to this one! Already got the Polar-Fis "kessy" edition fitted and a Premium Bluetooth with wifi hotspot etc..

So I decided finaly to swap out my MFSW from the mk6 with a new flatbuttom "R" one.
Wrapped the top part on the steering wheel so it blend in better with the other parts there's wrapped. pretty satisfied with the job :)

before wrap

after wrap

The 55W 6000k Sun Woif HID kit installed to match the Xenon, think I'll change to a 5000k in the fog since it's more blue than the Philips 6000k bulb in the Bi-Xenon when the car have been driving for a while.
[

Installing the new RNS510, retrofitted dab and a premium Bluetooth kit while I was at it.
