The screen display is just on "Auto" .. I mean that the red light in the buttons is a bit more bright than in the rest of the car buttons, even though all of them is pretty new. did change all the buttons there is and they are as bright as the light from the RNS unit?

Received this yesterday and a new genuine VW bottle opener to make the drink holder complete again :)



Planning to rebuild this button so it'll fit the Kufatec Soundbooster PRO kit. Bought this switch to make it abit more OEM looking since this actually exists on some Audi models.

A new update:

Decided to go with the blue R-line tacho needles for the 3D cluster I'm getting.
New ABS MK60EC1 pump, brake lines, mounts are all fitted! Just need to have the cluster done. Hopefully it should be installed shortly.

Swapped out the old key fobs to new ones from VW since my reech on the remote was getting really bad.
Bought some "cheap" keyfobs from ebay to get the top part since VW only will sell the top part with a new key cutted.

Well... Then it was my turn once again. Second time in like 5 months.


 

Ordered a Discover Media 2 unit with build in bluetooth & DAB.
Really looking forward to see how this will work out.

If all works as planned the car should have new 3d cluster along with the new MIB2 installed within next week I hope.

Also ordered a new Passat climatronic panel since my current one matches the wheel knobs from the RNS units. Of curse I need one that will fit the adjustment wheels the MIB 2 has.

Will try post some pictures of the car when it's all complete again. Then most interior replacement and retrofits can be seen completed hehe.

Atleast my "TO-DO" list is getting smaller and smaller, just need the time to actually do the mods instead of just buying the parts for it hehe.

My main attention is still going towards making the interior mods and keeping the car up to date.

Still need to retrofit my doorhandle illumination on all 4 doors, add entry ligths on rear doors, retrofit anti theft/tow module along with a few other bits and pieces.

So ... The 3D cluster finaly went in the car. Not all done - but it gives you an idea of how it'll look like. :)




Still need to add the 300km/h dial and add a Scirocco facelifted part before I'm happy with it.

Got the MIB 2 up and running. Working Carplay and PDC screen working with the revision "E" parking control module.

A little more updates that has been going on..
First step of fitting my 3D cluster has started.. Everything works, just ordered a 300km/h tacho dail from the VW mk6 R cluster that will replace the current 240 dail. ( and yes I've got the data from the mk6 r cluster too - so shouldn't be any problems with speed isn't matching the needle etc etc :) )

Also got some hardpipe kit from Darkside Developments. Audi S3 intercooler along with some other bits and pieces will be orders shortly - Looking forward to all is fitted :D

Genuine VW 1K0955559 AH sensor module
Genuine VW 7N0907530AS Canbus
Genuine VW GTI frontbumper with ED30 lower splitter
Genuine VW Passat B6 Alloy wishbones
Genuine VW Anti theft / tow parts

and some other small bits as Darkside Developments silicone reduction pieces for the intercooler, audi TT bushes and a few other goodies.
