Great retro fits, hats off to you!

Thanks mate.

VW passat alloy hubs arrived at my adress today. Will start cleaning them and post a picture when they are cleaned :)

Ordered new coilcovers and springs, J-hooked brake discs to the front and rear from Vagbremtec along with the NQSBBK mount kit to the Porsche calipers - which I still can't decide what colour they should be painted. Don't like red ones since mine isn't a GTI hehe...

Sorry for all the pictures is turning... Not sure why it does this when I upload them? They are the right way on my laptop?

Anyway.. Tried to install some interior doorhandle lights.. All parts from a VW Toureg. This was just a test. Not sure where I'll have the exact placement of the light. Did put the light closer to the handle on the other side to see what looked must natural.

Think it came out great, and I'll be doing this to all 4 doors once I have decide the placement of it in the doorhandle

This looks brilliant really want this in my golf!

Sure mate. I've looked at this DIY when I tried to install mine.
http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149919

I just didn't know if I wanted the light close to the handle lever or not, so I made one as I've shown in the picture and one where it sits closer to the chrome lever.

Also bought a complete Dynaudio setup that I'll be installing shortly - That's really something that I look forward to hear out. I've got the 10 speaker system in the car now, but they feel abit tired compared to when the car was new hehe.

So... Some pictures of the test work to fit the "Side Assist" indicators to the tweeter frame. Also cleaned up my B3 alloy hubs, think they came out great. Still waiting on some new ABS wheel sensors, SKF wheel bearings and some more goodes.

Couldn't have done it without the help - Really is a two man job to do this.
While waiting for the last parts to arrive to the dashboard, hopefully I should be able to install the new speakers to my rear doors and get working on the left side tweeter cover so that my "Side Assist" indicator can fit.

Right side is all done and just awaiting my vinyl wrap to arrive, then there's new speakers and side assist working on the passager side door :)

He will change all my wheel bearings and ABS sensors and some stuff while he's at it.

Whilst you're taking the front subframe off, you might well want to look at getting the Subframe collar kit.

With an alignment after that the front end gets a lot tighter and point and shoot.

Looked into to the subframe collar kit and desided not to go with it since the steering already will be improved enough since the car wont ever see a trackday.

Will hit the workshop tomorrow and get some stuff installed :) Pictures will follow.

Also dropped the new front bumper of to the paintshop, and I got everything from VW that I need to fit the GTI bumper to my car. So since I've got parts laying around and taking up space at home I've decided to take a week vacation and hopefully get some work done to the car :D
