One issue I do have tho my car is on h&r springs and I get a little rubbing on the front from the wheel arch.
Seems to be the arch liner and screw which is common problem on these cars, simple fix remove the screw and move the tab out the way.

Really? I'm 18x8 et44 225 40 18 and I'm nowhere near rubbing.

Arches are untouched, no screw mods.

Stig_gti:
So why am I running I'm on h&r springs with et45 18x8inch 225 40 18 tyres.
Oz ultraleggeria wheels.
Is mk6 different to the mk5 wheel arch.

Stig_gti:
Should also say it only rubs when I come down off a speed bump or hit a ditch.
That is also not driving fast.

I wouldn't be bothered about any slight rubbing when youve gone ever a speed bump ;)

Stig I'm on H&R's with the exact same wheel and tyre spec as you and I get rubbing too on the rear if I have passengers.

I may end up going with the srs tech wings and have the rears flared too match as I want a slightly bigger tyre and a far more aggressive offset (in order for the wheels I want to clear the brakes I have).
