Mk6 mirror switcheroo

Hi guys.

Those who've fitted the mark 6 switch....

Is your folding/heating controls backwards?  Icons are the same way around but function appears reversed.  I.e heated mirror folds them in.

Mine is flipped too, was trying to remove the condensation while I was driving only to find out it folded in instead! :grin: I bought my switches overseas and given it's designed for LHD markets where they sit on the otherside I believe that it's not a fault of the switch.

I've got used to it in the end but if you're a perfectionist you need the UK (RHD) spec one from the dealer.

Thought it might be that.  Had assumed as the icons were the same way id got the correct one.

Don't fancy paying dealer prices.

Thinking about it.  If I know the wire out arrangement I could rewire it after the switch.
