« on: January 23, 2017, 08:52:49 pm »
Does anyone know the best remapping companies for the N54 BMW engine or BMW in general?

Thanks,

Ian  :popcornsoda:

Take a look at DMS Automotive, heard good things about them in the motoring press.

I know, but there's no harm in doing a bit of research Rich! I've
Had two years without a fun car, so I'm chomping at the bit!!!

They are into the american JB1/4 plug in kits, they now do VW as well, they get a good write up on the yank VW forum and on the beemers.

When I had a 530D I used http://www.e-maps.co.uk - (Simon). He was highly recommended on the BMW forums. He travels from Birmingham. Not sure if its still the person, but I was happy with the service and output of the car.

It seems they all like the MHD flasher for the N54. You do it yourself apparently, so not sure I'll
Be going down that route! I'd rather go somewhere and have a before and after dyno run, keeping my clumsy mits out of it.

Picking her up at 10 tomorrow.  :driver:
