Macro Photography - Small but in a big way
« on: January 28, 2010, 10:50:35 am »
Hey there guys

I have been messing around with Macro for a while now and took these pics a short while ago.

Meet my Mini Cooper S - with typical Very Cherry mods... Checkered flag roof, red rims and stripes are all extras I applied.

The Range Rover Sport is still standard.  :innocent:

Here is the best part... The dimensions of the Mini: 8cm wide by 12cm wide and 5.5cm high.

I love Macro

No PAS. No ESP. No DSC. No TCS. No ABS. Just my right foot between me and oblivion. Oh - And a seatbelt.

I think the quality of the models reveal that they're models. That and I spotted carpet in the first pic.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

 :happy2:

No carpet... I took them whilst they were placed on a gloss black table.

And the funny thing is. I only paid 9 pounds for it. And it is not only fast but also so much fun!

Nothing compared to my modded TT01 Merc but still fun.

No no.  :chicken:

The Mini and Range Rover are official remote control cars by Mini and Range Rover. Made by a company called R-Star. The quality is great. The Mini often enjoys diving and has visited the realms of my pool on more then 3 occasions. Its that robust. I love them.

The Ranger Rover is slow though.... But still fun. It has little LED lights too. So cute.

I also have a highly detailed 6cm long by 3.5cm wide convertible Mini Cooper with LED lights.

But the big toy is the Tamiya TT01. Running a Merc DTM body at the moment but ordered a E92 BMW GT2 Racing Body and it has some mods done to it too.

The Tamiya is a awesome toy. Love it to bits.
