Pretty blunt but I agree. Not a part of the car where you'd want to cut costs surely. Same with tires tbh.

And a 150mph+ car at that.

I get money is tight for some people in these difficult times, but at the very minimum, fit discs and pads from VW.   I really wouldn't trust these chinese fakes on my car at Autobahn speeds.  Not only that, drillings and grooves serve no purpose what so ever on standard brakes, other than weakening them.

That is much better choice, providing it's genuine Brembo stuff and not Chinese knock offs  :happy2:

I'd also recommend oem as opposed to cheap chit lol had a full set of grooved and drilled discs with red stuff pads on my tt and they were rubbish so went BBK route on front and they made a huge difference in braking.
Also think about replacing your brake hoses as these are a weak point and cause brake pedal travel!!!

Just my 2p worth:happy2:

Someone will know better than me on here, but I was told by my mechanic mate to look at the master cylinder to see what marking it has on it.
Mines a 56 plate and it's ATE I think.
Take a pic or two with your phone as it's hard to get at.
