« on: January 30, 2017, 08:10:37 pm »
All right folks newbie here.

I'm looking for some advice!!

I'm thinking of getting my golf remapped it's currently 170bhp standard and would like to get a stage 1 remap, can anyone recommend where I should go or type of remap I should be going for, I'm based in the Scottish Borders.

Living where you do I would suggest you find someone in Edinburgh  Bound to be one or two   No personal experience though
Sure I read that the 170bhp are good for 210bhp without getting too expensive

Celtic tuning
Star performance tuning

I've got a quote from Celtic Tuning for £360 to take it to 214bhp.
Star Performance don't remap the engine for my car as it's a PD not CR??

Read a few things online that contradict each other some saying it can be done others saying not to do it, so before I go ahead and get it done thought I'd ask if anyone on here could help me in anyway.

I've also been quoted £350 from HausAuto in Edinburgh that use APR software??
