To remove the glass just need to push the larger side into the mirror then get your fingers behind the narrow side and just pull it forward.

@SI-R32 when retrofitting does the auto dimming automatically work or is additional wiring required?

I suppose airbags,  seat belts,  crumple zones etc are all gimmicks as well!

True. More of a nice convenience to have rather than a must, wing mirrors themselves on the other hand. Very practical.

whos talking about the safety features here?, this mirror is just a addition extra that's not even compulsory or a safety feature!.

On a lighter note, I checked the left side mirror housing and the extra connection for auto dimming is there, happy days. This car is a nice spec, I'm really chuffed.

It's only taken me 2.5 years to notice I have a button on my rear view mirror to dim the glare  :grin:
