Thanks for the comments and explanations as to the TPS workings - helps if you understand the basics of how these things work.

Inflated all tyres back up to 2.4 bar, didn't reset the button, but all seems fine from a mile out to test it. I'll do the button re-set after the MOT, - don't want to tempt fate - ha ha. I didn't realise that it worked detecting if one wheel was running different to the others, but that makes sense.

My tyres are legal, but I must change them soon - giving me chance to shop around, rather than as part of the MOT

Cheers guys

£140 for P6000s?  You're kidding?!  They are quite literally the worst tyre I've ever used in the wet.

These where original fitment on Peugeot 306 Rallyes, Absolutely lethal Tyres the P6000's! I replaced mine with the old rotational Goodyear F1 GSD3's back in 2008.

Wow, GSD3 is a blast from the past.  I've tried all of the F1s since the original arrowhead GSD2 design, which were also awful tyres!

My old Corrado came on P6000s and the grip was so poor, I re bushed / dampered / springed the car thinking it was a mechanical issue
