This feels like a stupid question, but I can't work it out or find any information.

I am replacing an R32 front bumper on my TDI along with the 2 part trims / mouldings that fit to the headlight washer.
However, my car doesnt have headlight washers and so there is nothing to clip the cover to. It sits in the recess but will just fall out.

How do you secure the headlight washer cover if the car doesnt actually have headlight washers?

I assume there will be different trim or is there a retaining clip I need?
I guess there will have been GTi's / R32's that didn't come with headlight washers?

Here is the piece in question:

Thanks
Jason

Look at the you tube clip, you see the cover is attached to the washer pump

I have had an r32 bumper for a while, and on the old one, the cover was fitted without washers but I can't remember how.

I don't have a washer pump to attach to.

Dont the one piece covers look different? Does anyone have a part number?
There's a few listed on etka.

Does anyone have a Gti without headlight washers? What do your  covers look like?

To my knowledge all R32's came with xenons as standard didn't they? If that being the case you won't get a single piece.

I retro fitted headlight washers to my standard GTI bumper a couple of years ago, the covers are different between the two marks, if you don't have the washer pump to attach the cover to, then you'll probably have to stick it somehow would be my guess

I fitted them with cable ties in the end, through the holes on the washer jet cover.
Will get pics up shortly.
