Alcantara re trim
« on: January 28, 2010, 05:34:42 pm »
Afternoon guys

Anyone have any experience of any car upholsterers in the north west?

I'm looking in to getting some door cards, pillars and headlining done in dark grey alcantara and would be intrigued to know if anyone has done similar.

Also need the steer wheel and gaitors doing in dark grey leather as well.

It's for a Mk2, not a Mk5 but not had much look on the other forum.

Cheers

Thanks Luke, it was your project that had originally inspired me months ago. Had planned to get it in my Mk5 but now that has sadly gone, I thought it'd be a nice touch once I get my Mk2.

Just waiting for the insurance to get sorted at the moment, but would appreciate it if you could give me a rough quote for the pillars, headlining and door cards.

Cheers

Oh yeah and pictures of the one you've done today would be great!

I had a look on the MJ Interiors site. Very impressive.

I get the feeling this could be a very slippery slope!!
