ET 35-42 offset replica wheels?

Hi, please can anyone tell me if the above offset replica wheels in 8x18 rs6s will go on my mk5? Some people have said no and some yes???

Please help. If not will genuine s line rs6 audi wheels go on (et51) think?

my merc rims are front et 35 8.5 x 18 and rear et 40 9.5 x 18 so i would of said they would of fitted. :happy2:

the replica wheels with that offset and the width of the wheels will stick out way too much... :sick:

and if ur playing on lowering ur car than u will run into problems..... :happy2:

get the genuine rs6 wheels bro! and don't forget to post pics...... :drinking:

Im more leaning towards genuine s line 18s (obviously used). Thanks for quick response. Dont suppose anybody has got any pics of rs6 18s on their mk 5 have they to give me some idea? Preferably in shadow blue if possible???

how did u make the front wheels work plush even with stretch tyres and rolled arches i would have thought they would stick out too far

Not really looking to lower the car much (is the gf's daily) so maybe 25-30mm max!  :wink: Would prefer to go genuine ideally but shes keeps banging on that she likes old style rs4s  :ashamed: ?

Have been looking at gen monza 17s also, see redrobin has a set in classifieds, cant pm him yet due to post count. Dont suppose someone could pm him on my behalf could they? Have pm'd him over on golfgtiforum but no reponse as yet??

Its about 20 mil ish further than a monza. so if he doesn't lower the car to much it will be fine in most situations. Would get rubbing for sure on compression on high speed bends.  :happy2:

Id better add that its a 2.0 gt tdi and not a gti to stop any confusion also, sorry!  :ashamed: :smiley:

I'm not totally sure ha ha i just bolted them on lol i rolled the arch a tiny bit but hardly anything at all to be fair.



It tucks straight under so i'm pretty pleased with them lol.
