Hi, yet another noobie joins the fold.....I've been popping in and out of the forum for a short while now and have recently (and finally at long last) purchased a Mk5. Not new to the VW scene (4 Mk2's 8 + 16 valvers & a Mk4 V5 )but this is my first Mk5....The mods have been coming thick and fast despite not even owning it a fortnight yet....

Decided to go with a blank canvass and started with a good base:
'08 3 door Reflex Silver with 58K on the clock, FSH, just had a major service before purchase
A sprinkling of factory extras (highline clocks, MF steering wheel, Auto Zenons etc.)
Great condition all round and I've really taken a liking to the 18" Monzas's too 

Mods so far: Milltek cat back non res system
R32 rear lights
Wolfsburg custom floor mats
various led bulb upgrades interior/exterior
VWRacing air filter
Stubby Polo aerial
Obligatory 'Gti@ seat handle inserts

I'll start a members rides thread soon but haven't many pics yet sorry so heres a sneaky peek for the meantime

Cheers. The mods have  I know how much of a slippery slope it can become (from past experience!) though . Hope to keep a lot of the originality as VW intended but with little subtle changes here and there
