Belt,Tensioner and water pump...who would you get to do it?

Been quoted by VW dealer in Willenhall £442 all in for cambelt, tensioner and water pump change for ED30...a VW specialist in Brum has quoted me £352. Is it worth paying the extra? are the stealers any better than a specialist?

Can't remember the name but there is an Audi dealer that advertises on eBay - Very cheap IIRC.

A good indi would be just as good & a saving on mdp.

that's a good price. They had no issues with it being a Vw and not an Audi?

Same engine - Better warranty, Audi give 2 years vs VW 1 IIRC.

The stoke dealer talks about replacing water pump
and v belts at extra cost. What are v belts?

....Except that the belt n pump servicing is an important one and your handbook might benefit from the stamp when it comes to selling.

Stu's recommended dealer is in line with what the VW dealers are able to offer. I had mine done cheaply by my VW dealer under a loyalty scheme.
