Hi
« on: February 12, 2017, 06:20:37 pm »
Hi, joined recently as I've just put a deposit down on a Red 3 door, manual ED30. Its unmodified and appears to be in very good condition. I should be picking it up next weekend.

I'm not sure what number it is as it had no plaques, whats the best way to find out, and can you still get the plaques?

Its replacing my trusty A4 diesel which has given me 3 years of really cheap motoring, Its just got boring. Previously I've owned a 6n2 Polo Gti and BMW z4 Coupe.

Anything I should check when I get it, I'm guessing replacing the cam follower fair soon would be a good idea.

Welcome along. Yes get the cam follower done and also check the pcv and DV  :happy2:

Not sure myself on the plaques but I believe you can get the number by giving vw your vin number ( I could be wrong though) hopefully somebody who knows will be able to point you in the right direction

Thank you.

I'll read up on the diverter and PCV, and check them over.
