Faulty instrument cluster, indicators
« on: February 13, 2017, 02:24:32 pm »
My indicator lights on my instrument cluster don't work

I have replaced my hazard light switch my indicator stalk and now my steering wheel contol module.

Still not fixed, I'm guessing it must be my instrument cluster

I have vag commander and can access my SKC code does this mean I can reprogram a midline cluster I have bought from eBay or do I need the SKC for that particular cluster?

Confused!!!

It's not clear to me about needing a SKC for the donor instrument cluster or just the SKC for my car.

If you get a 960,961 or 962 cluster from ebay you just get the immo data from your current cluster, save it to a file. connect new cluster, load the saved immo data and click write. and then go back and click reset. immo data done and car will start.

just need vcds to clear the lights on dash
