Headlight Bulb's

Hello all. Seen a Golf gti mk5 over the weekend which had really bright lights I thought were xenon's. They wasn't xenon headlights when I later walked pass the car. What bright light bulbs are you guys using or any recommendations?

It was probably a sh*tty HID kit.
