Mk5 1.9 TDI headunit not working, HELP
« on: February 26, 2017, 02:40:01 pm »
Okay so I have 2 issues this first one is  i bought a appradio 4 headunit about 2 years ago for a 1.4 mk5 fittted and worked fine I know have a 1.9 mk5 and just tried fitting it and for some reason the headunit won't turn off when the ignition is off!? I gave up trying and put it all back together with to original golf head, and today I've thought I'd have another look see if I've missed something, but I unplugged to fit the pioneer headunit but wasnt getting any power at all!? I fitted the golf head back and that's no longer receiving power either  :star:

I'm worried this is gunna be an real technical fix or could it just be a fuse ?

Check the fuse firstly. For not powering off, it has permanent live done for non OEM units, thats why.
