Wheel bearing makes
« on: March 01, 2017, 12:48:09 pm »
Mate is going to be doing the OSR bearing tomorrow and I've already bought an SNR from ECP the other week, but driving the car recently it sounds like the NSR is maybe going too.
ECP not and option this time but a local motor factors has mentioned - Firstline, Fagg and there might be a couple of others too.
Reckon either of those would be ok, think I've heard of Fagg?
Cheers.

As above, FAG or SKF. I work in a parts supplier here in Dublin and have worked in several factors in the past, I wouldn't put firstline ANYTHING in a wheelbarrow much less a car. It's absolute junk.

They've dabbled with KYB bearings in the past too (Japanese I think).  I think it just depends who can do VAG the best deal!

I remember using 'G-Tech' bearings from German & Swedish on my old Corrado and they lasted about 100 miles, no kidding.  Complete trash.

Why can't you just use SNR brand again from ECP?

Cheers guys, I'll go for the Fagg or SKF if they have them in stock.
Not enough time to get them with 30% online with ECP.
