New brakes
« on: March 19, 2017, 08:33:54 pm »
Hello , can anybody please tell me if I upgrade my front brakes to maybe the TTRS setup or similar , will I need to upgrade the backs too ? I've read somewhere that the back end can go light on you under heavy braking . I don't do track days only road use .

You don't need to. If you've got the budget for R32 rears it'd be preferable, but you'd only gain a bit more balance under really hard braking, like on trackdays. Which kind of answers your question.

You'll probably find the majority of mk5s with bigger front brakes still have standard rears. It's no biggie.
