Pretty sure Andys are et44 meaning your wheels poke only 3mm more than your wheels
A 225 will stop the rubbing
If the back is rubbing either go to a 225 or camber in the backs slightly

They.were.et 44 and no rubbing at all

Thanks for the further replies, looks like if I fit some 225's I should be ok then, will update the thread when I've tried some!

So I fitted some 225 35 ZR19 DUNLOP SPORT MAXX's and have been running for about a week now with no rubbing. Thanks for the help everyone!  :)

Buy the correct size and be aware that you can get the fantastic Pilot Sport 4s for a 19" which isn't available for 18" unfortunately.
Maybe next time...

I would have loved to but no way can I justify £700 on tyres at the moment when I've got to service the car and DSG gearbox in the next 12 months, also cambelt and water pump as well as all kinds of other small maintenance jobs  :scared:

I knew the tyres were good but I had no idea on the price  :scared:, I'm with you on your reasoning!  :happy2:
