Having problem updating the maps on my rns,ive tried the dvd dl way and it does not read,so ive gone down the sd card way the first time i did it i did not notice the size of the files so i put them on a 4gb card and it loaded onto rns ok but the maps are right but the street names are wrong because the files are bigger than 4gb so guess some is missing.
Today ive brought a 16gb card put sd card in and it says the normal test file,restarted unit put cd in and MAPS TOOL SD TO HDD COPY comes up and finishes then unit restarts but dont get any thing to confirm map update just get welcome to voltswagen screen i did get something about swl initialisaton then it just switched off also the time clamp so changed clock but same.Its as though it cant read card but plays test file ok. Anybody any idear what i can do next. Thanks
