Stage 2 on Ed30
« on: January 31, 2010, 02:10:26 pm »
Was looking at this milltek sports cat on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-mk5-GTI-Ed-30-MILLTEK-Exhaust-Front-Pipe-Cat_W0QQitemZ150406366379QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2304eb04ab and wondered about going to stg2 on revo.  Is it as simple as fitting the sports cat and paying the 50 quid to revo to go stg2 ?  Im already at revo stg 1

The downpipe from milltek comes in 2 parts and there is only one section in the photo.

Its a good price if the other pipe is included but you might want to contact the seller to see if the other pipe is included. If not you might be able to knock the price down a bit and buy the other half direct from milltek?

Simon is right tho, with the downpipe and sports cat you can go stage 2  :happy2:

Yep that was my next question actually, would it require a connecting pipe

I will ask the question.  The cat pipe has had a repair, that is the only concern.

He has offered it delivered for 300 quid.

The other pipe is almost as long as the section in the photo and reduces gradually from 3" to 2.75" with a couple of slight bends in it. I cant imagine it would be very cheap from milltek. A reducer will also be required if you want to fit this to a standard cat-back.

The price appears cheap but might add up to a fair bit with all the extra costs. ????
