DSG Gear Number Display
« on: April 04, 2017, 11:02:03 am »
Anyone know of a way to have the gear you're currently in to be displayed more prominently?

I.e., instead of MPG or whatever in main display area, you have a large 3 etc. I've often found when in a "hurry"  and using manual mode it can be a little difficult to know exactly which gear you're in.

I know the Polar FIS can display a lot more info and was wondering if there's any function for that in it or any other device or possibility through VCDS.

Is it just me?  :stupid:

Cheers for any input.

Mick.

In manual mode it's displayed at the bottom.

Or did you mean in drive all the time?

Have you got midlines or highlines ? The highline display is a lot bigger so that's an option if you haven't got them already

Ive been asking Polar to add this to the Polar FIS for ages. I would love a big digit gear selection option.

In manual mode, or as an added screen you could toggle to with the MFD stalk buttons as a large display about 2 inches tall.

I have highlines mate but it's still tiny, i'd like to able to see it at a glance, just in periphery vision sort of like WRC or STACK dashes have it.

And no joy obviously?
