Hey @dazza or @rich83 along with anymore admin.

An Irish car company - http://www.micksgarage.com/

was onto me and they're willing to put up the odd post with special offers and also give a members only discount code.

Could anyone send me on some info on what's required, can they just set up a profile as normal and post away?

Followed a couple of their DIY videos on youtube. Believe they have their own GTI project  :happy2:

You're correct!

They have a great guides on:
Full gti servicing
oil pickup pipe
performance mods

It's also handy considering it's all done on as you say their GTI project car.

They get alot of plugging from 'DannyDC2' on you tube.  They prob send cheap tools / parts for exposure on his vlogs.  Never used them personally  :happy2:

I've been using them since they started and have always found their customer service fantastic.

Do agree with the cheap tools, they sell Draper stuff and a few other types and none of it looked like it would have the longevity of more reputable brands.

Prices though are much lower so it probably suits the DIY mechanic who dusts them off once a year.

Sorry I didn't mean cheap as in cheap and nasty. I just meant I think he gets them given discounted for promoting them.  I could well be wrong of course!

I was contacted by Micksgarage again.

The intention would be similar to Opie Oils where they will post up special offers maybe once a week for forum members and include a forum discount code.

I'll go ahead and let them set up a profile if that's ok?

I can't see a downside here for anyone!

The garage would have to  register as a trader on here and pay a contribution to the forum like oil man does and get Alex approval first
