OBD Dongle and app
« on: April 07, 2017, 04:28:33 pm »
Can anyone recommend a decent OBD2 dongle and wifi phone app for monitoring engine parameters?

I tried the PolarFIS but didn't get on with it.  I just want to occasionally check the boost pressure and lambda on my phone, rather than having a permanent boost gauge and wideband display.

Fanks!

Would a generic £3 OBD2 bluetooth/wifi reader with the £3 torque pro app (android, carista for apple) suffice?

I am interested in this too. It's a faff having to get VCDS out to do some quick logging.

Any links to specific Amazon/eBay ones that are known to work with iPhone?

(sorry to hijack your thread btw!)

I think OBD eleven looks pretty good, that's Android based.. not sure if that will help you out Pudding. suppose to do quite a lot.
